Urge Congress to pass the Dream Act
Now that President Trump has decided to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, our members of Congress must take action to protect nearly 800,000 DACA recipients contributing to communities across the country.
The bipartisan Dream Act introduced by Senators Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) would provide a path to citizenship for the 1.8 million immigrant youth who grew up calling this country home.
With Donald Trump’s lack of courage to protect Dreamers, it’s now time for Congress to step up and provide a permanent solution for these young people who contribute so much to our economy, communities, and country as a whole.
Add your name to our petition calling on Congress to protect DACA recipients by passing the 2017 Dream Act.
Dear member of Congress,
Following President Trump’s decision to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, it is imperative that you step up and protect the nearly 800,000 DACA recipients from deportation. By choosing to end DACA, Trump has chosen the side of extremists and white supremacists, not the side of the people. Now you have a choice. A permanent solution that would provide freedom and security to these young immigrants through a path to citizenship is the bipartisan Dream Act, introduced by Senators Durbin and Graham. I urge you to do what’s right for Dreamers, for our economy, and for our country as a whole: support the Dream Act.
